The Promise, in One Paragraph
Every job Sightline Windows & Doors completes is covered by a 90-day workmanship promise – plain terms, no asterisks, nothing buried. If something we installed or repaired isn’t performing the way it should within 90 days of your service date, we come back, we look at it, and we make it right. No forms to file. No fees. No receipt hunt. We have the job on file because we documented it when we left.
What’s Covered
- Our workmanship. Any installation, alignment, adjustment, or repair our crew performed is covered for 90 days from the service date – full stop.
- Parts we supplied and installed. If a component we sourced and fitted fails within the 90-day window, we replace it at no charge to you.
- A return visit, at no charge. If something doesn’t look or operate the way it did when we left, call us – the visit to come back and assess it costs you nothing.
- A redo when the first repair doesn’t hold. If we fix something and it doesn’t hold, we don’t count that as a closed ticket – we come back and do it again until it holds.
- Clean-up, again. We left the site clean after the original job; we’ll leave it clean after the return visit too.
- A documented record of the return visit. Every visit gets the same photo record as the original job, so you have evidence of what was found and what was done.
What Isn’t Covered

- Storm damage or accidents after we left. If a branch puts a crack in the glass we installed, that’s a new job – call us and we’ll quote it honestly, but it isn’t a workmanship issue.
- Work performed by someone else after our visit. If another contractor adjusted, re-sealed, or modified what we installed, we can’t stand behind the result – though we’ll still come look and tell you what we see.
- Parts or materials the customer supplied. If you sourced the hardware and we fitted it, the promise covers our labor, not the material you provided.
- Normal wear on equipment we didn’t install. Weatherstripping or hardware on adjacent openings that we never touched is outside the scope – fair is fair.
- Problems we flagged and you chose not to fix at the time. If we noted a concern during the job and you asked us to leave it, we’ll document that note – but declining the fix removes it from the covered scope. We’ll always re-quote it if you change your mind.
- Manufacturer product defects beyond our scope. Product defects that originate inside the unit itself fall to the manufacturer’s own warranty; we’ll help you navigate that process and won’t leave you alone with it.
Before
AfterHow to Use the Promise
Step 1: Call (509) 265-6387 or book online.
No form to locate, no warranty card to dig out, no receipt to photograph. Tell the person who picks up that you’re calling about a return visit on a completed job – they’ll pull the file.
Step 2: Tell us the job and roughly when it was done.
A job date and address is enough – we have the documented photo record on our end. You don’t need to remember the technician’s name or find any paperwork.
Step 3: We schedule the return visit.
We’ll confirm a date and time that works, and you’ll get a text when the technician is on the way – the same process as the original job. No callback window, no voicemail queue.
Step 4: We make it right.
The technician reviews what we originally found and what the current issue is, fixes it, documents the visit with photos, and leaves the site clean. If the fix requires a second appointment, we schedule it before we leave.
Timing

The 90-day window opens on the date of your service and closes 90 days later – that date is on your written job record. If something comes up just after the window closes, call us anyway. We’re reasonable people, and a problem that shows up on day 93 usually tells us something about the job we want to know. Each Sightline location is independently owned and operated, but every one operates under the Haven Standard, which means this promise travels with the work – not just with the office that booked it.
Questions About the Promise
If you have a question about what’s covered, whether your issue qualifies, or what to expect from a return visit, call (509) 265-6387. A live person answers. They have the job on file. The conversation costs nothing, and neither does the answer.
