You don’t need to know how to hang a window to own a Sightline location. You need to know how to run a business that keeps its promises. Since 2012, we’ve refined an onboarding system that takes someone with zero trade experience and gets them to launch day with the operations, vendor relationships, and documentation standards already in place. The Haven Standard governs every installation we’ve ever completed, and it governs training the same way: specific, written, and measurable. No vague mentorship. Initial Training

Week one starts with the trade itself. You’ll learn sightlines, U-factors, SHGC ratings, impact classifications, and why a west-facing wall in Phoenix needs a different glass package than a north-facing one in Portland. You’ll learn the vocabulary so you can talk to installers and clients without bluffing. Then we move to operations: the measured survey that doubles as the quote, the documentation trail every job leaves behind, and the 365-Day Done Right Promise as a workflow, not a slogan. You’ll learn the software stack for scheduling, estimating, and photo documentation. Hiring, background checks, uniform standards, license verification. Marketing comes last on purpose: by the time you learn how to generate leads, you’ll know exactly what you’re promising those leads and how you’ll deliver it. Sonia Raman, our owner, puts it this way: “I’d rather train a smart operator in glazing than teach a glazier to run a business without corner-cutting.”

Launch Support

Opening day shouldn’t feel like a leap. We set up your local marketing before the doors open: Google Business Profile, service-area targeting, ad campaigns written in the Sightline voice, and a lead response system built around the one promise this brand makes everywhere: written pricing in writing, from the start. Your first jobs are supervised. A field coach with years of install experience reviews every measurement, every quote, every photo packet before it goes to the customer. We don’t hand you a playbook and wish you luck. We stand next to you until the first ten jobs are done and the documentation is clean. Then we step back and let you run.
